How to Use Ingredient Profile

The ingredient profile provides all the infromation on one particular ingredient, such as, taste profile, texture, pairings, etc.  To see a full profile you musht be subscribed to a paid plan and logged in. Once you are logged in:

1. Click on “Ingredients” at the top navigation bar
2. Scroll down to the ingredient that you are looking for (ingredients are in alphabetical order).  You can also use the search bar in the navigation.  To search for the ingredient click on the search icon, then type in the ingredient you are looking for.  The ingredient name must be spelled correctly.
3. Once you have found your ingredient, click on it.
4. The full profile will display.

How to Add A Favorite and Description

To add a favorite ingredient click on the heart icon. Once saved the heart icong will fill and will remain filled to indicate that it has been saved.  If you want to unsave the ingredient, click on the heart icon that has been filled.  For a short description of the ingredient click on the words “open description” a description will pop up.  To close the description click anywhere on the page.

 

Substitues

To go to the profile for a substitute simple click on the name and you will be taken to that profile.

 

Pairings

Ingredient pairings can be found below the ingredient profile.  If you would like to go to a pairing simple click on the picture and you will be navigated to the pairing profile.  To close pairings click the toggle on the side of the pairing header.
